Captain of Flamingo Time

[Verse 1] Mask pushed up on his forehead like a crown, Floral shirt got the whole yard on lockdown, He's drifting slow on a flamingo pink and proud, Sipping coconut glory with his straw out loud. [Chorus] He's the Captain of Flamingo Time, Retired from the clock, still holding it up high, No more mornings, no more nine-to-five, Just floating on his throne, king of the pool tonight! [Verse 2] He raised that old alarm like a trophy in the sun, Said "You don't run my life no more, you had your run!" Beat the buzzer, beat the snooze, beat the whole routine, Now he's just a legend floating easy on the green. [Chorus] He's the Captain of Flamingo Time, Retired from the clock, still holding it up high, No more mornings, no more nine-to-five, Just floating on his throne, king of the pool tonight! [Bridge] All those years of clocking in, he earned this lazy crown, So let the man float on, don't you dare wake him now. [Chorus] He's the Captain of Flamingo Time, Retired from the clock, still holding it up high, No more mornings, no more nine-to-five, Just floating on his throne, king of the pool tonight! [Outro] So here's to the flamingo, here's to the man, Time never looked so good in a lawn chair tan.
